FSR: Stress Test Results Reflect Strong Banking Sector; Regulatory Tailoring Needed to Boost Economic Growth

Financial Services Roundtable (FSR) is currently seeking fulltime interns for Fall 2016 to support the FSR staff and our member companies. FSR prides itself on its engaging, educational internship program that exposes our interns to the legislative process, government agencies, and leaders in the financial services industry. As a prestigious and reputable organization, FSR holds our interns to a high standard of quality work products, dedication, and commitment of the highest caliber. Each intern will be hired by a specific department at FSR, but will also receive the added advantage of spending a portion of their time with the Government Affairs department.
The position is based in Washington, D.C., and candidates are paid an hourly minimum wage. While we request each intern to work a full 40 hours each week (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00pm), the length of the internship is somewhat flexible. However, we prefer that candidates be available to start in January and finish in May.

The BITS internship is designed to solicit program support for various BITS departments and focus areas to include Fraud Reduction, Cybersecurity and other Special Interest Groups related to technology risk. The BITS internship experience will provide candidate with a greater awareness and understanding of the risk management field as it relates to financial services and public policy. Candidate will participate in the development, and facilitation of in-person meetings that host high-profile representatives of the financial services industry. Candidate will also participate in the development of core project initiatives and deliverables that may include whitepapers, advisories, surveys and the aggregation and analyzing of technology risk data.
Key Skill requirements/characteristics: Strong written, critical thinking, communication and organizational skills, portrays professionalism, a positive attitude and basic knowledge of external research tools, proves thorough and dependable and has a willingness to work with others.
