FSR Commends Senate for Confirmation of Fed Vice Chair for Supervision

 

WASHINGTON — The Financial Services Roundtable (FSR) today commended the U.S. Senate for confirming Randal Quarles for Federal Reserve Vice Chair for Supervision and called the position crucial for unlocking needed economic growth.

“The Fed Vice Chair for Supervision can play an outsized role in delivering needed economic growth while protecting consumers and taxpayers,” said FSR CEO Tim Pawlenty. “FSR looks forward to working with Randal Quarles to better tailor the financial regulatory system in a way that meets the needs of America’s modern economy.”

FSR also called on the Senate to swiftly confirm all of President Trump’s qualified financial regulatory nominees.
